ATP Newport: Gojowczyk reaches the last sixteen - Stebe gives up
Peter Gojowczyk (Munich) made it to the round of 16 in Newport / Rhode Island with ease.

The 31-year-old defeated the American Mitchell Krueger 6: 2, 6: 2 at the start of the ATP lawn tournament. Now Gojowczyk has to deal with Vasek Pospisil (Canada), who was number four.
Cedrik-Marcel Stebe (Vaihingen / Enz) was less successful, who failed at the start in Newport against the Australian Jordan Thompson. At 5: 4 in the first set for Thompson, the 30-year-old had given up.
