Stebe in Melbourne in round two - Hanfmann eliminated
Cedrik-Marcel Stebe (Vaihingen / Enz) reached the second round at the Great Ocean Road Open ATP tournament in Melbourne, while Yannick Hanfmann (Karlsruhe) was eliminated.

Stebe prevailed against the Bolivian Hugo Dellien 6: 4, 6: 4 and now meets the former Wimbledon and US Open finalist Kevin Anderson (South Africa). Hanfmann lost his opening match against the Spaniard Mario Vilella Martinez 6: 7 (2: 7), 2: 6.
Stebe is the last of three German starters in the $ 311,665 competition. On Monday Dominik Koepfer (Furtwangen) failed against the Australian Christopher O'Connell. The top seed is the Belgian David Goffin.
