Nicolas Kiefer has included mouth and nose protection in his range for his fashion label "Kiwifash". The 42-year-old has been selling his own fashion line since 2017, which is based on textiles "Made in Germany".

As part of this, Kiwifash now offers reusable makeshift masks in the online shop to prevent the distribution of droplets. "To counteract the lack of mouthguard, protective masks are produced in Kassel. Each makeshift mouthguard is manufactured individually, personalized on request and available in different colors," Kiefer tweeted on Sunday.
The sales of the masks expressly point out that the face mask is "completely self-made". "It is neither tested nor certified. The production and use is your own responsibility." A piece costs 34.95 euros and is available in any color variation.
From 1995 to 2010 Kiefer was active on the ATP tour as a professional. He has won six singles and three doubles in his career and was number four in the world rankings in January 2000. At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, he won the silver medal in double with Rainer Schüttler.
