The preparation for Wimbledon is also in full swing with the absolute top stars of the scene. On Wednesday, three Grand Slam winners, Novak Djokovic , Rafael Nadal and Stan Wawrinka, came to London's Hurlingham Club, and the prominent field of participants was completed by the up-and-coming Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime.

Nadal and Wawrinka made the start, the Spaniard prevailed relatively unchallenged with 6: 2 and 6: 3. "Honestly, it's positive for me to play a few matches before the tournament starts at Wimbledon. I used to play at Queen's, it was a long time ago. I'm older now - I can't play that many matches anymore "said the 36-year-old after winning the show fight.

Djokovic top favorite at Wimbledon

Novak Djokovic then followed suit with a no less confident 6: 2 and 6: 1 win over Auger-Aliassime. The third in the world rankings will lead the field in Wimbledon and will not only start as a big favorite because of his status as the defending champion.

Before Djokovic plays his opening game at the lawn Mecca on Monday, he will play another exhibition game at the Hurlingham Club on Friday. While the Serb's opponent has not yet been determined, Nadal can look forward to a duel with Auger-Aliassime.
