Roger Federer gets the basket from Robert de Niro
Will Robert de Niro soon be filming in Switzerland? Unfortunately not. Even Roger Federer could not persuade the Hollywood star to do this.

The phone rings, "Robert de Niro" is on the display. "Hey, Bob, how are you?" Asks the man who answered the call. Well, well, answers the Hollywood star. But to be honest: This film in Switzerland that he is supposed to make ... "Nothing will come of it."
Yes, the mountains, the green valleys, the ski resorts, everything is fine and good. "But there is no drama, not at all." He, the actor, needs edges, conflicts, danger. "Switzerland is just too perfect."
Well, that's probably true, says the man who calls Robert de Niro and whose name is Roger Federer. "You're probably right."
Federer as a brand ambassador for Swiss tourism
The short film, which has been making the rounds on social media since Tuesday, is wonderful - and of course nothing more than a promotional piece between Oscar winner de Niro and tennis hero Federer. He recently became the brand ambassador for Switzerland Tourism.
Bad luck for Federer, who in the end still gets the advice to give Hanks a try.
Federer before comeback in Geneva
Will it come to what? Federer shouldn't have too much time for his fellow actors at the moment anyway: The Swiss maestro is in the final preparations for his comeback, he wants to play at the home tournament in Geneva from May 16 and then, from May 30, at the French Open .
Federer returned to the tour in Doha in February after more than a year off , after two operations on his right knee. He won one match, lost one - and said goodbye again to the training ground.
However, Federer's goals are set after the clay court season: The 39-year-old wants to attack again at Wimbledon, the Olympic Games and the US Open. Even Robert de Niro shouldn't complain about the lack of tension.
