Roland-Garros 2024: Qualifier Misolic opens against O´Connell

Of course: A match against Carlos Alcaraz would certainly have been a highlight for Filip Misolic (John Jeffrey Wolf from the USA has now drawn this fate), but the Styrian will certainly be happy with Chris O'Connell as his first round opponent after surviving the qualification at Roland-Garros. Not that the Australian should be underestimated. But in addition to Alcaraz, it could also have been Casper Ruud, the recently very strong Alejandro Tabilo or Hubert Hurkacz.
If Misolic wins his first ever match in the main draw of a Grand Slam tournament, he will then face the winner of the match between Francisco Cerundolo and Yannick Hanfmann.
Sebastian Ofner's opponent has been known since Thursday. Austria's number one will face Terence Atmane from France.
