The tournament series of the German Tennis Association (DTB), which starts on Tuesday, offers "many German players the opportunity to play matches again. I am pleased that the competition is starting again," said Struff. In the past few weeks, he has trained time and time again at the federal base in Kamen, but the training is very different from a real competition.

Other group venues for the men are Großhesselohe, Troisdorf and Überlingen. A total of 32 players duel in eight groups to advance to the intermediate round. After the semi-finals, the final round will take place in Großhesselohe on July 21.

The 24 participants in the women's field (from June 16) will first play in Darmstadt, Versmold and at the DTB federal base in Stuttgart. Laura Siegemund is one of them . "I'm really excited to see how quickly I can get back into tournament mode," said the 32-year-old: "In any case, it is a good preparation for the day when I hope that the WTA tour will start again." The women's final series will start in Versmold on July 14th. Siegemund will meet Comebacker Carina Witthöft in the group phase.

All games of the DTB series are streamed at Tennis Channel Germany.
