Plenty of Wimbledon flair in the historic Kurpark: the current number 3 in the world rankings and Wimbledon title holder Simona Halep will be at the start of the Bad Homburg Open presented by Engel & Völkers from June 20 to 26, 2021. The 29-year-old Romanian and two-time Grand Slam winner accepted a top 20 wildcard and is the third Wimbledon winner in the 32 draw of the new WTA 250 grass event after tournament ambassadors Angelique Kerber and Petra Kvitova (Czech Republic).
