WTA Eastbourne: Serena Williams and Ons Jabeur are in the semifinals
Serena Williams and Ons Jabeur have reached the doubles semi-finals at the WTA 500 tournament in Eastbourne.

Serena Williams is already in the semifinals of her comeback tournament: alongside Ons Jabeur, the 40-year-old American made it into the semi-finals at the WTA 500 event in Eastbourne. In the quarterfinals, the two defeated Shuko Aoyama and Hao-Ching Chan 6-2 and 6-4.
Compared to the opening game, Williams in particular showed a significant increase in performance, neither the 23-time individual Grand Slam winner nor her partner had to give up the serve in the match. In the semifinals, the two meet Aleksandra Krunic and Magda Linette.
While Williams is only competing in doubles in Eastbourne these days, she plans to start in singles at the Grand Slam tournament in Wimbledon, which begins next week. The American played her last singles match a year ago on the sacred lawn in London.
