ATP Shanghai: Roger Federer nervous! Now against Zverev?
Roger Federer won his eighth final against David Goffin 7: 6 (7), 6: 4, especially in the first set. Alexander Zverev could now wait in the quarterfinals.

Federer is now waiting ... for Zverev?
Federer had last won against Goffin at the US Open, at that time 6: 2, 6: 2 and 6: 0. However, he subsequently suffered a five-set loss to Grigor Dimitrov, also handicapped by back problems. Federer recently celebrated two individual victories at the Laver Cup in Geneva.

Defending champion Novak Djokovic has already made it to the quarter-finals. He beat John Isner 7-5, 6-3 and won his 14th consecutive set. He now meets Stefanos Tsitsipas, who beat Hubert Hurkacz 7-5, 3-6 and 7-6 (5).
