Australian Open: Finalist Jennifer Brady cancels
Jennifer Brady has canceled her appearance at the Australian Open 2022.

She is the next prominent player who will not be in Melbourne: Brady, who rushed to the final this year and was defeated by Naomi Osaka, is still suffering from her left foot injury.
They had kept them busy since the spring: Brady had to give up in the third round of the French Open, followed by only brief comebacks at the Olympic Games and in Cincinnati, where she was unable to continue playing.
Jennifer Brady: At the top since 2019
Brady had her breakthrough on the tour in 2019 with a semifinal run at the US Open, at this year's Australian Open she even made it into the final, which she lost to Osaka 4-6, 3-6.
Before Brady, Serena Williams and Karolina Pliskova had already canceled the Australian Open 2022.
