Australian Open: Julia Grabher is defeated by Anett Kontaveit in two sets

Austria is no longer represented in the individual competitions of the Australian Open 2023 after the second day of the tournament: After Dominic Thiem failed in three sets at midday (local time) against the Russian Andrey Rublev, Julia Grabher also had to give up in the first round of the " Say goodbye to Happy Slams. The player from Vorarlberg lost against number 16 in the tournament, Anett Kontaveit from Estonia, after 71 minutes of play 2:6, 3:6.
