Novak Djokovic is considered one of the most agile professionals on the ATP tour. In his match against Gael Monfils at the ATP 500 tournament in Dubai , however, the Serb set a new sign of his extraordinary elasticity.

Djokovic was mentally unbeatable in his thrilling three-set victory over the French. Although he was already 2: 6, 1: 3 behind, he struggled into a tie-break, fended off three match balls and ultimately won 2: 6, 7: 6 (8), 6: 1.
"It's like on the edge of a cliff. You know there is no way back, you have to jump and try to survive," said Djokovic as he caught up. But his comeback was not the only topic of conversation.
In slow motion during a defensive strike, Djokovic was seen practically sliding his entire torso parallel and just a few centimeters above the ground. He was supported only by his hyperextended right ankle, he let the left leg drag along the floor for stability.
