Rafael Nadal is back in Paris. On Wednesday, the 13-time French Open title holder completed his first training session at the Bois de Boulogne and left a better health impression than last time in Rome. As several journalists unanimously reported, the Spaniard didn't seem to have any major problems with his left foot.

In the previous week, Nadal had lost in great pain against Denis Shapovalov in the Foro Italico, raising some doubts about his participation in the French Open. The Mallorcan has suffered from Müller-Weiss syndrome, a deformation of the metatarsal bone, since the beginning of his career.

"I'm not injured, I live with this injury," Nadal said after his bankruptcy in Rome. In Paris he seemed to have it under control, at least on Wednesday, a training match against the world number 95. Jaume Munar was finished with a score of 6: 3 and 3: 2 for the 35-year-old.

For Nadal, the French Open, which begins on Sunday, is about the 22nd Grand Slam title of his career. Last year, the Spaniard Novak Djokovic lost in four sets in the semifinals. A reunion with the Serbian industry leader could already come in the quarterfinals this year .
