16 men and 8 women will start the first national tennis tournament in Austria after the Corona break on Monday, May 25th. Dominic Thiem will kick off on May 25th at 12 noon. He opened against David Pichler. Thiem will also be on the starting line for the next three days. /

Who plays everything?

In addition to Dominic Thiem , Dennis Novak, Jurij Rodionov, Sebastian Ofner, Lucas Miedler, Sam Weissborn, Jürgen Melzer, Phillip Oswald, David Pichler, Alex Erler, Lenny Hampel, Max Neuchrist, Sandro Kopp, Lukas Neumayer, Marko Andrejic and Moritz Thiem are on Begin.

The women duel Barbara Haas , comebacker Tamira Paszek , Mira Antonitsch, Irina Dshandshgava, Julia Grabher, Melanie Klaffner, Sinja Kraus and Elena Karner.

What is the mode

It starts with the men with four groups of four players each, who play their matches within eight days. The top twelve players move on and continue the tournament in four groups of three.

In the end, there should be a tournament based on the ATP finals: eight players who first determine the winner over a group phase, then with two semi-finals and the final.

The women's games start after the second group stage of the men.

How much prize money is there?

The tournament will pay out a total of 151,750 euros.

How will the matches be played?

The games will of course be played in a Corona-friendly manner: without on-site spectators, without ball children and line judges. Only a chair umpire will still be present on the court.
