Generali Austrian Pro Series: Thiem Gruppenerster, Dennis Novak and Sebastian Ofner start with victories
Dominic Thiem secured his group victory thanks to his third win in the third game. After the appearance of the Lichtenwörther, buddies Dennis Novak and Sebastian Ofner also started successfully.

Austria's number two, Dennis Novak (ATP No. 85), had to fight a lot before the 7: 6 (4), 5.7, 6: 2 victory over the world ranking list 494. Alexander Erler was under lock and key. Erler was already leading 2-0 in the third round, but then Novak pulled away and allowed his 22-year-old opponent to stop playing. Novak, like Lukas Neumayer, now has one victory in Group C.
Afterwards Sebastian Ofner also won his first game of Generali Austrian Pro Services. Against Phillip Oswald, who only played on the double tour, Ofner made the decisive breaks to 3: 2 in the first and 2: 1 in the second set. Oswald was given two break chances to equalize, but Ofner defended himself confidently - 6: 2, 6: 4 at the end. Like colleague Max Neuchrist , he started with a win in Group D - Neuchrist had already defeated Moritz Thiem 6: 1 and 6: 2 in the morning.
Very smoothly with 6-0, 6-0 won at noon superstar Dominic Thiem the last game from group and secured the group victory. Thiem thus meets Jürgen Melzer , who had already won Group B on Friday.
