Kvitova, Dabrowski and Barty coach Tyzzer awarded

Petra Kvitova has already won the Karen Krantzcke Sportsmanship Award for the eighth time in her career.

The 29-year-old won the "Fair Play" award for the seventh time in a row. With her eighth overall award, she is on a par with Kim Clijsters , who last won in 2012 in this category. Former winners include Evonne Goolagong, Chris Evert, Judith Wiesner and Lindsay Davenport. /

"To be selected by my colleagues for sportiness and fair play is a great honor, I am proud to treat my opponents with respect and I hope to inspire future generations to love the sport as much as I do," said Kvitova ,

The winner of the Peachy Kellmeyer Player Service Award is Canadian Gabriela Dabrowski. The double expert was honored for her work in support of her colleagues. "Being part of the WTA Council has opened my eyes wide," said the 27-year-old. "It has enabled me to give a voice to the group of players I represent, to see the input of everyone."

Coach of the Year: Tyzzer ahead of Beltz and Bajin

Craig Tyzzer, the coach of World Ranking First Ashleigh Barty, however, won the award for the "Coach of the Year" - including Torben Beltz (coach of Donna Vekic) and Sascha Bajin (former coach of Kristina Mladenovic and Naomi Osaka).

Barty put on a hell of a year under Tyzzer in 2019, winning in Miami (where she won her first Premier Mandatory tournament) and at the French Open (her first Grand Slam win).

Indian Wells (Premier Mandatory category), Dubai (WTA Premier 5), the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart and the tournament in St. Petersburg (WTA Premier) as well as Acapulco and Auckland (WTA International) were selected as tournaments of the year.

The Porsche Tennis Grand Prix won for the tenth time in its category , Indian Wells for the eleventh time.
