In her current form, Danielle Collins is difficult to beat. And Daria Kasatkina felt that in the final in Charleston. The American celebrated her thirteenth victory and second title in a row after 1 hour and 19 minutes. The 22nd in the WTA rankings only allowed her opponent two games in the first set.

Kasatkina only managed to hold three service games in the entire match and, after the score was 2:4, only won one game in the second set to make it 1:5. Danielle Collins gave her opponent another chance to get a foot in the game shortly before, but after fending off two break chances, she made it 5:0 from her point of view.

For Danielle Collins, this continues an incredible run of success after her Masters triumph in Miami and ensures her return to the top 20 of the world rankings at the start of the new week.

Camila Osorio celebrates title at home

At the same time, Camila Osorio secured the second WTA title of her career at the WTA tournament in Bogota. The Colombian won in her country's capital Bogota against Marie Buozkova, who was ranked almost 40 places higher, 6:3, 7:6(5). The 85th in the WTA rankings already held the trophy in her hand at the same venue three years ago. Now she triumphed again in front of her home crowd.
