WTA Miami: Elena Rybakina first finalist after defeating Victoria Azarenka
The first finalist of the WTA 1000 tournament in Miami isElena Rybakina . The Kazakh defeated Victoria Azarenka in the tiebreak of the third set in the semifinals.

Curious: Rybakina only won five (!) points in the entire second round. In the deciding set, the Kazakh then managed the first break to make it 3-2, and Azarenka hit back at the last moment to make it 5-5. However, Rybakina didn't let anything go wrong in the tiebreak.

Rybakina will approach the final on Saturday as the favorite at best. The 24-year-old will face the winner of the game between Ekaterina Alexandrova and Danielle Collins.
