WTA Miami: Gauff and Sabalenka in lockstep
Cori Gauff and Aryna Sabalenka reached the third round of the WTA tournament in Miami.

The third seed Gauff beat Nadia Padoroska 6:1, 6:2, the second seed Sabalenka won just a few minutes later against her friend Paula Badosa 6:4, 6:3.
Both matches - like all games on Friday - were postponed due to rain and could only begin in the afternoon local time.
Sabalenka's start had generally been questionable for a long time; after the death of her ex-boyfriend, the tournament gave her an extra day off.
Gauff will now play against Oceane Dodin, Sabalenka against Anhelina Kalenina.
The top seed in Miami is Iga Swiatek, who will face Camila Giorgi at the start.
