WTA Rome: Julia Grabher fights in round three!
Julia Grabher is in the third round of the ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Rome after a three-set win against the Swiss Jil Teichmann.

Great performance by Julia Grabher in Rome. Austria's number one defeated the 26th seeded Swiss Jil Teichman 7:6 (4), 5:7 and 6:3 and thus advanced to the third round. There it is either against the Russian Daria Kasatkina or the Italian Lisa Pigato.
Grabher defeated local hero Nuria Brancaccio in three sets in round one. Against Teichmann the deciding set was balanced up to 3:3. With the break to 5: 3, the woman from Voralberg then set the signs for victory.
Iga Swiatek, against whom Grabher recently lost in round two in Madrid, taught Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova a lesson: the Pole won 6-0 and 6-0 at breakneck speed.
