In the second ATP Challenger final this year, Matthias Bachinger suffered a second defeat: The Munich player had to beat US American Maxime Cressy 4: 6, 2: 6 in the final at the indoor hard court event in Forli after 76 minutes of play give up. Nevertheless, tomorrow, Monday, the 34-year-old will find himself in 231 place in the ATP rankings, improved by 25 world ranking positions.

Bachinger was in the final in Biella (also Italy) in March of this year, where he narrowly defeated his compatriot Daniel Masur 3: 6, 7: 6 (8), 5: 7. The former number 85 in the men's world rankings has so far won four Challenger victories in his career and was once in the final of the ATP 250 tournament in Metz (2018).
