Officially sponsored by the Bahrain Ministry of the Interior, the Challenger tournament in Manama boasts a formidable line-up. Jan-Lennard Struff, for example, didn't even make the list of laws. But that doesn't stop the Warsteiner from playing big. Struff safely beat Tomas Machac 6: 4 and 6: 3 on Friday.
In the semi-finals, the German Davis Cup player now has to deal with Thanasi Kokkinakis, who won the all-Australian duel against Alexei Popyrin 6:3 and 7:6 (5). Salvatore Caruso and surprise man Abedallah Shelbayh from Jordan contest the second semi-final.
