ATP Challenger Nur-Sultan 2: Sebastian Ofner loses in the final against Tomas Machac

Second Challenger tournament in Nur-Sultan - and for the second time an Austrian made it into the final. But as in the previous week, when Jurij Rodionov lost to Mackenzie McDonald, Sebastian Ofner also had to be satisfied with second place against Tomas Machac. Ofner missed too many chances, losing to Machac 6: 4, 4: 6 and 4: 6.
After winning the first set, Ofner quickly fell behind with a break in rounds two and three. And did not make it to the rebreak despite numerous chances. After all: With 68 points, Ofner improved 19 positions in the ATP world rankings to 152nd place.
