Brazilian victory at the ATP Challenger tournament in Salzbrg Anif: Thiago Monteiro, who started the event in sixth place, won the title with a 6: 3 and 7: 6 (2) against Slovakian Norbert Gombos. On the way there, Monteiro first defeated Jurij Rodionov, then Alexander Shevchenko, Dusan Lajovic in the quarterfinals and Facundo Bagnis in the semi-finals. Bagnis defeated Dominic Thiem in three sets in round two.
In doubles, Nathaniel Lammons and Jackson Withrop had already secured victory on Saturday. The two Americans defeated the local heroes Alexander Erler and Lucas Miedler 7:5, 5:7 and 11:9.
