ATP Challenger Tour: Bonzi, Brooksby set records in 2021

Before the tennis year 2022 starts again with four Challenger tournaments (in Bendigo, Traralgon, Buenos Aires and Forli) from January 3rd, a quick look at the outstanding players of the past season.
- Benjamin Bonzi took the most match wins at 50, closely followed by Tomas Martin Etcheverry at 49 and the Argentinian Sebastian Baez at 44. With his successes, the 25-year-old Bonzi climbed to 64th place in the ATP world rankings.
- The highest success rate with a minimum of 25 played matches was recorded by Jenson Brooksby with 88.5 percent, followed by Baez with 86.3 percent and Tallon Griekspoor with 85.7 percent.
- Griekspoor won most of the titles with eight. Bonzi and Baez were each able to lift the trophies six times. The Danish youngster Holger Rune won four titles on the Challenger Tour.
- A total of nine teenagers were able to sign up for the list of winners. In addition to Rune, these were Juan Manuel Cerundolo, Jiri Lehecka, Carlos Alcaraz, Brandon Nakashima, the Swiss Dominic Stricker, Dalibor Svrcina, Carlos Gimeo Valero and Giulio Zeppieri.
