So Stefanos Tsitsipas has to deal with the Chilean Cristian Garin. After the Greek had already secured his place in the semifinals of the ATP 500 event in Hamburg in the afternoon, Garin followed him in the last match of the day. The Chilean had to deal with the Kazakh enfant terrible Alexander Bublik, who was able to pull Garin's nerves at the start of this match with his unorthodox style of play.

Bublik secured the opening set with 6: 3 and obviously caused Garin to be frustrated with one of his numerous underarm aces. The Chilean is considered a clay court specialist and was able to play off this superiority in round two and three, first Garin 6: 4 - and in the decisive set, a break was enough for the 24-year-old to make it into the semi-final round.

Rublev meets Ruud

Andrey Rublev, who can be found in the upper half of the grid, is also there. In a remarkable quarter-final duel with Roberto Bautista Agut, the Russian made it into the round of the last four. There Rublev gets to do with the Norwegian clay court specialist Casper Ruud, who prevailed 7: 5, 3: 6 and 6: 1 in a hard-fought match against Ugo Humbert, who defeated Medvedev this week.
