Davis Cup: Italy, Spain, USA also reach the final round
Germany reached the Davis Cup finals from September 14th to 18th with a 3-1 victory over Brazil. The remaining participants have now been determined.

Alexander Zverev made everything clear with his two-set win against Thiago Monteiro on Saturday evening : In the end it was 3-1 for the German team after Kevin Krawietz and Tim Pütz had previously won their doubles.
In addition to the German selection, Australia, South Korea (win against Austria) , Spain, the Netherlands, France, Argentina, Belgium, Italy, Sweden, Kazakhstan and the USA also won their qualifiers. Italy had to make up for a 1:2 deficit against Slovakia after the doubles, but Jannik Sinner and Lorenzo Musetti kept their nerves in the end.
Croatia (last year's finalist), Serbia (wildcard) and Great Britain (wildcard) have already qualified for the final round from September 14th to 18th.
Defending champions Russia, on the other hand, are ruled out and a replacement will be named shortly, they say.
