The two Tyrolean Sandro Kopp and Alexander Erler were given a Quali-Wildcard by the organizers. Alexander Erler will open the games on Center Court at 10 a.m. against the Belarusian Egor Gerasimov, Sandro Kopp will then meet the Indian Prajnesh Gunneswaran.

With Lucas Miedler and Jurij Rodionov two more Austrians are represented in the qualification. Miedler is up against the Brazilian Thiago Monteiro, Rodionov with the Australian James Duckworth.

In addition to the Austrian quartet, there will also be four German players tomorrow, including a duel between Maximilian Marterer and Dominik Köpfer. Yannick Hanfmann will meet Ernests Gulbis and Matthias Bachinger will meet Federico Delbonis. The former Kitzbühel winner Andreas Seppi will also be used in tomorrow's qualifying. The Frenchman Pierre-Hugues Herbert (No. 69 in the world) leads the qualifying field in Kitzbühel, with a total of ten top 100 players playing tomorrow's qualifying start.

Larger qualification tableau

This year, the qualification will be played on a 24-point grid, with eight additional players and correspondingly more games to kick off the tournament week on Monday and Tuesday (September 7th and 8th).

The expanded grid shows that six qualifiers will serve in the main draw of the Generali Open Kitzbühel this year. The size of the main field grid remains unchanged from previous years with 28 players. The two additional qualifiers will replace the “Direct Acceptances”.

The draw for the main field of the Generali Open Kitzbühel will be announced tomorrow at lunchtime.
