Stefanos Tsitsipas (ATP No. 5) has so far lived up to his favorite position at the 250 tournament in Lyon. The second seeded Greek beat Tommy Paul, Yoshihito Nishioka and Lorenzo Musetti and is on red ashes in his third final in 2021 - he won the title in Monte Carlo.
Opponent Cameron Norrie (ATP No. 49) made the dream final against Dominic Thiem impossible early on, and he also got Corentin Moutet, Arthur Rinderknech and Karen Khachanov out of the way.
It is the first official match of the two against each other, at the Hopman Cup 2019 Norrie won 7: 6 (8), 6: 4.
