Berrettini rose by two places in Vienna thanks to his semifinals and is now 9th in the ATP ranking - among other things, because last year's Vienna finalist Kei Nishikori ended his season due to an arm injury and dropped to 11th place. /

Berrettini is the fourth Italian to make it into the Top 10 in the Men's Cup: Adriano Panatta (1973), Corrado Barazzutti (1978) and Fabio Fognini (2019) have done well before. Berrettini's ascent 2019 is impressive: at the end of 2018 he was still in 54th place!

Novak Djokovic starts last week on rank 1

At the top, however, there is nothing new: Novak Djokovic is still first ahead of Rafael Nadal , who will replace the Serb on November 4 but definitely . Behind them continues to be Basel winner Roger Federer . This is followed by Daniil Medvedev and Vienna winner Dominic Thiem in front of Alexander Zverev .

A new career high takes Basel finalist Alex de Minaur with 18th place, as Basel semi-finalist Reilly Opelka as new number 31.

From a German perspective, Jan-Lennard Struff (36), Philipp Kohlschreiber (78) and Dominik Koepfer (85) are among the top 100 after Zverev. In Austria followed behind Dominic Thiem still Dennis Novak (124) and Sebastian Ofner (164).

Ashleigh Barty at the top

In the women's category , Ashleigh Barty has already secured her number 1 finish at the end of the year with her first group victory in Shenzhen. In the current ranking, Kiki Bertens has played in seventh place with her finals in Zhuhai, winner Aryna Sabalenka finished 11th with her best. Karolina Muchova (21), Dayana Yastremska (22) and Saisai Zheng (35) have reached new highs in the current week.

Angelique Kerber is currently in 18th place for the German ladies, Julia Görges is 28th, Laura Siegemund 73rd, Andrea Petkovic 79th and Tatjana Maria 89th.

In Austria, Barbara Haas remains # 148 in the country on rank 148 in front of Julia Grabher on rank 226. Grabher made 14 places here in comparison to the previous week.
