Dominic Thiem has been unbeaten at the Generali Austrian Pro Series so far - five matches have been pending, five wins have been celebrated by the Lichtenwörther. He delivered brilliant performances ( like a 6-0, 6-0 against David Pichler ), but also had to go twice over the distance ( against Sandro Kopp and Jurij Rodionov ).
Lenny Hampel, number 715 in the ranking, presented himself with a win in three games in group phase 1, but most recently won against Jurij Rodionov. It is the first meeting between Thiem and the 23-year-old Hampel.
